8.The US Food and Drug Administration plans to destroy two batches of Johnson COVID-19 vaccine produced by a manufacturing plant in Baltimore, with a quantity of up to 10 million doses, CNN said on June 11, citing sources familiar with the matter.

9.Indian research institute: the mutant strain is still contagious to vaccinated people. It is understood that the researchers conducted a virus sample analysis of 36 patients who were still infected after vaccination. The results showed that 23 people were infected with mutated strains, accounting for about 63% of the total. Of the 36 patients, 19 received only one dose of the vaccine, and 17 have completed all two doses of the vaccine. The researchers believe that this suggests that the mutant strain is still highly contagious to vaccinated people.

10.Johannesburg, South Africa’s largest city, announced an increase of 14.59% for electricity; 6.8% for water; 6.8% for sanitation; and 4.3% for garbage. Local residents said the increase was much higher than the inflation rate, an unacceptable increase.
