1. In the first quarter, the EU had a current account surplus of 116.5 billion euros. Of this total, the EU had a trade surplus of 99.2 billion euros in goods and 33.1 billion euros in services in the first quarter of the year, with an initial income surplus of 4.7 billion euros and a secondary income deficit of 20.5 billion euros.
